Pedophilia has all to do with children's consent when pedos rape them. It's the ATTRACTION to children, which only leads to rape if the pedo in question acts on the attraction. If they find child porn on your computer, you'll be labelled a pedo even if you've never touched a kid in your life. So let's review: pedophilia != child porn; pedophilia != child molestation; even if pedophilia includes both.
The point I was trying to make with my question about fags is that you can't label mental illnesses based on the current social norms. The argument for pedophilia being a mental illness will invariably include that it's not natural to be attracted to kids. But it's not natural to be be attracted to members of your own sex either, yet you don't see fags being diagnosed with mental illness.
Basically what I'm saying is that

P.S. Before (although it's probably already happened) people label me as a pedo or a defender of pedos, I'm going to clarify that I'm arguing from the point of mental illnesses, not pedos. People have ed-up or outside-of-the-social-norm thoughts all the time, and it's stupid to label every one as a mental illness. Let's leave that label for the people who have actual mental illnesses. |

I'm not trying to, I did it. Both are sexual deviances. There was a time when being gay would have gotten you hanged, but marrying your 11 year-old cousin was A-okay. Now it's the other way around.

that is exactly correct, and it's ing sick and disgusting but i don't think many realize that when people hear cp on the news they think sex with little children was found on their computers and they are sick rapists.
a naked 15y old that took a picture of herself naked in the bathroom and then sent it to her bf who then sent it to the entire world would be enough to call it that as well (i personally don't consider that child pornography) so we don't know what they have found on their computers. |

Do we also know that the people who were arrested actually had the intent of soliciting child pornography?
Based on the documentaries i've seen, majority of the time, people hack into others computers and store the images/videos on an unsuspecting person. That way there is no evidence on their computer and harder to trace back to them.
I remember watching 20/20 and there was this like 13 year old kid who was arrested for Child Pornography and it took him like two years to finally clear his name since it wasn't actually his stuff. Some hacker stored all of these pics and videos on his computer without him even knowing and it ruined his life. |
