| For any of you who were at the Fluid last time and had one of the best nights of your life, I really hope you weren't there to see the mess last night. the idiot who started it all and the cops for shutting the place down at 2am. Poor Andy, he is never gonna go to that town ever again. I didn't know my knees was bleeding until i got home, I drove alone from Richmond hill for this? what an absolute nightmare! |

There were like 5 guys... I think they were spanish maybe... I saw them outside while having a smoke at like 1:30 and they were just being silly retards and talking harmless to the bouncer (I think they were blazing too cuz they f*ckin reeked)
The crowd last night was effin awesome... so these guys really stood out - they were the only sketch that I saw in the place. All big bald tough guys *thumbs down*
Anyway... great in set from Andy... it was before 3 and he had been spinning since 12:30-ish ... everyone's dancing and all of a sudden there's a bunch of people on the floor punching eachother. They broke it up and I saw those guys being taken outside.
I don't know who started the madness but I definitely saw THOSE guys being taken outside by the bouncers... stupid morons
And yes I saw some by-standers get hit in the fight :( :( That's really ty to hear
... f*cking ridiculous pricks (I'm biting my tongue to keep from saying prejudice stereotypical slurrs right now) show up to put on a show and ruin the night... the cops came and shut the place down and everyone got questioned on the way out.

Feel so bad for Owen and O Lounge and the local DJs there and ANDY.
PS. the title of this thread??? Yaaaa... No. I was talking to one of those guys outside and they were all from Mississauga... so ya. Thanks to them for coming to our beloved Hammerbomb f*cking up the end of the night. |

so andy moor was playing a solid set of prog trance/electrance and some of his own tunes thrown in... and the crowd was blowing up for each track and the atmosphere was great. hearing justin oh play the justin martin remix of mushrooms was something i thought i'd never get to hear in a club :D
then suddenly i see a few guys doing the homer kick in circles in the middle of the dance floor. i go closer to see wtf is going on then some fag elbows me between the eyes, i push him away from me then 2 other fags tackle him... it gets broken up/restarted a couple times but each time it's this group of 250lb guys who looked like extras from the bathtub scene in training day. finally everything seems to have calmed down... then the music stops and the lights go on. what a buzzkill
so while everyone is cheering for him to go on me and my friends know it's definitely over and go to leave before the coat check line started... and at the door cops are letting no one leave because someone was sent to the hospital... so we had to wait 15 mins with the lights on before they let everyone funnel out.
i guess the situation was handled well for what was going on though, just too bad it had to happen. i was also thinking F the po-lice at first, but if my girl or any of my friends were the ones seriously hurt then i wouldnt care if they shut it down and kept us for an hour to find out what happened. the night ws perfect up until then though... happens i guess |

they would have never closed down a t.o club for one fight....from wat i found out a bouncer got his head split open by 3 lebanese guys and there was only 3 bouncers for a 200capacity sized club.....which is soooo understaffed...one promoter told me a guy got knifed at O Ultra the nyte b4 which is prbly the reason y there was like 8-10 cruisers out in front of the club by time they let us go.....its funny cause these arab guys were in front of us in the line getting in....
anyways heres how the nyte went for me.....got there juss b4 1(which is cause we got shut down at 2.....got in to the tiny club and andy was ripping it on the 800's.....he played sum progy uptempo stuff which was sik cause i was hopin he wasnt goin to play sum fluffy .....i believe he played daydream rite b4 all hell broke out on the dancefloor....
for a second i thought ppl were break dancing b4 my buddy started yelling "fight fight fight" anyways the one bouncer got his head split open and the arabs were taking on all comers....i think they even wanted to scrap it out wit me but i dont deal with childish fights like that.....we started laughing and taking vids n pics of it.....
when the guys were cleared from the dance floor i statred that "andy" chant and yelled out "only andy moore can cause a rukus on the dance floor"....andy laughed.....the music played for bout 10more mins then sum prick made andy shut'er down....we tried everything to get him going including the "one more track" chant and the "4am" chant but no go.....then we werent allowed to levea the club for 30mins....pure bull....
met a few ta's -ania xox / club life n a few others i dont really remember.....good to se vince n that bad ass t-shirt of his and marky mark daroza.....
talked to andy for a bit outside....pretty chilled out, not a douche bag like sum djs....we got a nice vid of andy talking to us about the fight outside....he a funny guy i'll try to post it up.....
Overal - Andy Moore 8/10(on track to being a 10/10 but he only played half of his set)
Overal nyte out - 5/10 (this prbly would be higher if i made it out for owen thomas set, but for having to close down the club at 2 it only gets a 5...sorry boys....u still put on a hell of a party) |

that sucks, glad i didnt go.
and ya...well Hamilton isnt the greatest. though the police are usually fast to respond and in big numbers lol always trouble downtown. |

the party was going so well before all that happened. i was standing right beside the fight when it broke out. it seemed to go on forever. once you thought it was over 2 or 3 other people would start fighting again. a few friends of mine got caught in the middle of it all and took a few punches.
i should add that this is not typical of hamilton parties. i've been to o lounge a hundred times over the last few years and i don't recall witnessing a single fight until last night. there have been some fights in the past but they have always been on the hip hop nights which is typical.
as for the beginning of the night... i am not a huge trance fan anymore but last night the music was great. no fluffy cheesy trance that is being played by everybody nowadays. it wasn't too crowded at all. it was great to see some regular toronto partiers down for this. i'm looking forward to my next party at o lounge for donald glaude in a few weeks. |
