absolute bull .

I feel bad for Andy. I spoke with him after telling him his agent has to book him into better venues. Honestly his set was not up to par at all. He could have done better but I guess thats what you get whe you enter a venue and its the size of your room. Before the fight broke out he started playing better but I guess it was abit too late for that.

As for those degenerate F*ckers get a ing life and grow the f*ck up

Justin Oh opened with a nice set and added in his remix of Justin Timberlake's "What goes around". Andy Moor came on starting off a lil nice and slow, it all goes up from there. I was outside having a smoke with a couple people and we all heard yelling from the inside, cops responded quickly, and the party got shut off... It was a bunch of idiots who looked like they didn't belong, and they had to ruin it for the rest of us who wanted to have a good time. Great job Mark and Owen for the booking, and for handling the situation. I would definitely come to another party in O Lounge!

... f*cking ridiculous pricks (I'm biting my tongue to keep from saying prejudice stereotypical slurrs right now) show up to put on a show and ruin the night... the cops came and shut the place down and everyone got questioned on the way out.

Prejudice stereotypical slurrs ?? lol I didnt know discrimination was openly discussed about still. You should probably reconsider your thoughts on specific cultural / ethnic groups, because being racist makes as you bad as those who cause the fight :)

Holler that :toocool:
don't recall mentioning anything about racism or denigrating ethnic groups in my post though
If you're interested in my views on that subject you can direct your comments to the "Immigration in Canada" thread

I believe it was an ethnic fight, cause they were yelling country names and swearing at each other in their native language

And yes I saw some by-standers get hit in the fight :( :( That's really ty to hear

The one guy who started it all was punching people randomly, and he was ing mad. When the cups asked Andy to stop playing, I thought they want to give a speech that they are gonna stay outside the club for the rest of the night so people better behave well, but instead they shut down the place for the night. I'm glad this moron didn't have a knife or a bottle in his hand, he was so mad he could have done much worst.

O lounge is doing such a good job lifting the scene in Hamilton all on its own, and like this happens, so sad to hear. This happened (on a smaller scale) when i spun there last with hatiras... but this in no way is a good example of the people that go to O -Lounge, some of the nicest people (mostly students) are rockin it, and as some of you know the promotions team there is nothing short of spectacular. hope the city can leave its eyes open... how was Justin Oh's set?

Justin Oh's set was phanominal! Got energy goin in the place and everyone was dancin hard, good job again Justin.

As for the that went on, it;s truly terrible it happened at O llounge which is my place away from the Toronto scene that has classy owners, staff, promo team and atmosphere. Stupid idiots who called themselves the "gypsy mofia", I thnk they said "what what" afterward. They were just there thinking they were the , they didn't care who they took on.

For the cops who shut down the party? wtf. I remember turning to Hamish Campbell and sayin how much I was looking forward to his closing set and how good Andy was, I hadn't loved a trance night so much in awhile when it all went down. I was outside having a smoke when it all went down with two buddies when it fell out the door, the s who did it all were walking away before people yelled at the cops to arrest the motherf***er's, they even hesitated at first. Truly appalling.

Could have been the best night at O Lounge ever, but all ruined by out of towner idiots who tainted a fabulous venue and great intimate place to go and enjoy a great show.

Andy was a good sport about it and said it happens all the time, I gotta say killer set wish we all coulda finished it off.

11/10 for the party, pre stupidness
-10\10 to the cops for bein cops
100/10 to all the people who took one for the team to get these asses out, some of them the smallest in nature when these were some big guys.

I'm not sure who told you there was a stabbing at O Lounge the night before, but I don't see that being too likley considering we were closed. That incident was from Al Basha, the Arabic smoke shop accross the street from O Ultra Lounge and had nothing to do with us.

The guys that started the fight sunday night at O Lounge were also not arab.

i should add that this is not typical of hamilton parties. i've been to o lounge a hundred times over the last few years and i don't recall witnessing a single fight until last night. there have been some fights in the past but they have always been on the hip hop nights which is typical.

Thank you!

The group of people that initiated the fight started it amongst themselves. When our staff and friends tried to stop it and get the problem outside, they were sucked into the situation.

and ya...well Hamilton isnt the greatest. though the police are usually fast to respond and in big numbers lol always trouble downtown.

O Lounge is downtown?...thats news to me.
Hamilton definatly isn't the greatest, and there's a small group of people trying to change that. When we have nights like that where 4-5 people ruin it for everyone giving our events company a bad rep, even though we've had a good run of quality events over the last 3 years, it's making our job that much harder.

I'd like to appologise to everyone who came out Sunday night, especially to all of the people who came from out of town and was their first time at our events. Thanks for everyone I spoke to after the incident who were still in good spirits. It's really unfortunate a hand full of dick heads have to ruin it for a whole room filled with good people.
