| sorry by that i meant typical as in bad reporting... fights/stabbings/shootings always somehow get related to nearby nightclubs. ex. Phoenix in london. a shooting was related to the nightclub when it had nothing to do with it. good thing the owners got a nice settlement from the local and university papers |

Ma bad, you saw how i interpreted that ;) and yes i agree, if there is a nightclub around it is just easier for the authority to point the finger and end an investigation. |

sum guy calling himself a promoter told me bout the stabbing....he was outside after the entire thing went down....he was also telling me bout sum after party andy moore was gunna be at in the east end of hamilton that nyte.....he gave me his number n told me to call him n an hour.....so i called the guy and he was tellin me sum house dj from Film Lounge was spinnin but andy wasnt prbly goin to make it....any1 go to this afterwards..... |

That guy couldn't even stand and was gnawing his jaw off as he was talking to me. He was trying to convince Andy to play at this so called after-party but there was no way I was letting Andy go to that sketch-bag's house especially after all the that already happened that night. |

We have no association with Film lounge. Andy Moor was not scheduled to play at any after parties. Anything in the east end of Hamilton is...well...if you live in Hamilton you know what kind of parties happen there.
There was no stabbing at O Lounge. Not during sunday wih Andy Moor, not even the day before (we were actually closed the night before Andy Moor).
I know you're just repeating what was told to you, I'm just letting you know what the deal is ;) |

First off: I really want to know if these ing s get caught. Please post if they do.
Second off: The COPS said there was a stabbing at this place the night before. And yes, they said right there. Maybe they were just saying that to have grounds for shutting the place down, who knows. Maybe 2 of them didn't have their facts str8.
(absolutely awful if those morans were still around when the cops showed up, yet they refused to go after them)
Third off: As much as many people around hamilton love O lounge, some do not anymore. MOST of the people in there are extremely cool, and are there to party it up hard...That is the main attraction. I respect you guys, many of you are friends of mine.
Obviously it is hard to expect a few pieces of human garbage to walk in, start throwing punches and smash a bouncer over the head, but that SHOULDN'T be able to happen.
The way that fight developed, it could have been WAAYYYYY more dangerous. I was at the back with a few of our girlfriends behind us while the ****** looked like he was about to bull rush into us. That was the first time I clued in as to how disgusting these morans were. If he took 3 more steps there were about 3 usually non-violent people ready to smash the ****** with a bottle in defence.
Why? NO SEARCH at the door, seemingly only 1 bouncer to handle a group of guys, each as big as he was...Lord knows what weapons they had, or how far they were willing to go. Not a nice situation everyone was put in regardless of fault. Likely to happen again, who knows? Not a chance I will be taking tho.
Ironically 2 of our more violent friends left 30 min before this thing broke out....and I am glad they did! Providing the bouncer is okay (any updates?), this story would have had a much nastier ending...and given the shadiness of the situation, who knows which way it could have gone.
One of the most appauling nights ever, andy was playing slow and barely out of warmup. No time to enjoy anything seeing how we came late into justin's set.
(U are one brave mofo justin, and i respect your crazy attempt to help, lol - I didn't even see a person under that guy!) |

Do I have to say this again? We were closed Saturday night. Anything that happened Saturday night (the ngiht before Andy Moor) had nothing to do with us. If there is a car accident in the street outfront of your house, does that mean you're involved because it happened near your home?

It's unfrotunate people that aren't even from or area stain our reputation. What happened shouldn't of happened. But saying it shouldn't be ABLE to happen is a bit much. I, nor anyone I've ever met in my life can predict what another person will do from one moment to the next. It's prety hard to foresee some dick about to start swinging at his own friends in the middle of a good party, regardless of what preventative measures have been put in place.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say here. We should search people at the door for anger and people looking like bulls? Search people at the door or you will smash the ****** with a bottle?
