yeh big weekend in footy.
I knew Richmond werent going to get up, they played really well except for about 15 mins when geelong put there foot down, geelong wont play a full game of football until they play hawthorn, because they simply dont need to, look forward to watching geelong turn it on against hawthonr though.
On the brighter side, how good is it to see Essendon down and out, my god they are useless. |

woulda thought most ppl got 8 for last round.
this week
carlton/freo is tricky cos you never know how freo are going to play.
port/syd - syd could cause an upset at aami. they did smash them earlier in the year by 60 odd. burgoyne probably out as well. is chad back this week?
for the rest id say the favourites would all get up.
its been a pretty good year for betting & tipping this year. im sitting on 59 |

the mighty fighting hawks!
lol, is it true that williams rang up half the port team to apologise for his choking gesture? pretty funny... not great sportmanship, but it is only bogan port afterall :p |

Was very surprised to hear Jeff Kennett's comments about Melbourne relocating this morning.
Coupled with a few on field things this year (Mark Williams last week the obvious one), there seems to be a little bit of an air of arrogance coming from Glenferrie Road/Waverly Park this year imo.
The Hawks are travelling very very well, but short memories can be the downfall of such teams imo.
It's certainly made for a huge backdrop for this weekend's game... |

you're only picking this up now? so many (not all, nicko ;)) hawthorn supporters have been unbearable this season. at least actually accomplish something before talking and acting like you have won premierships for the last 10 years in a row. bloody ridiculous.
going to the game on sunday mr millson? should be good but i think we have you guys covered, especially watching your match last week. having said that north always seem to get up for the milestone games as they have very strong team orientated ethos. |

Jeff Kennett the president isnt much different to the premier - he doesnt mind opening his mouth. Melbourne will come out hard this weekend.
I think they are tryng to keep a lid on things at Waverley, I'm certainly not seeing too much arrogance down there. I only look at the Williams thing and hope it doesnt come back to haunt sometime down the track.
Good to see Shane Crawford is now equal fourth on the all time most reported list. He has joined some illustrious company.:D () |
