p.s. The last show i saw in St. Louis was Enigma 2000 w/ Fankie Bones - no doubt 8 years and 1 week before this Venue.

You really didn't think that out either. Do you really think Digweed would be paired up with someone he did not choose himself? Do you think he has some hot-shot agent like Ari in Entourage calling the shots for him? Get real, he put that together himself. Ask Kazell who asked him to be on this tour, he will tell you John for sure. Of course he has a booking agent, tour manager, and hires all that he needs to do nothing about the tour, but he is not going to let them pick who he tours with...
I am a die-hard fan of what Diggerz used to be and am sick of what he and Welsh-man have turned into... And everyone's falling for it like cows on the pasture... They have no more mojo... They are old and out-dated and everyone will soon start referring to them in the same category as Oakenfold...
We'll see how the first few reviews go in the tiny cities and venues they are playing... Until then I am done on this topic, I hope that I eat my words, but face facts people.... |

Digweed manages himself for sure, that was my point, but the guy does not do it all himself, he's too busy.
Maddraver, I have based that on seeing Sasha and Digweed for 12 years, and it is my opinion of what they have turned into... I do not live in the past, but I want effort put into the tour because I have seen what they are capable of... |

i gotcha. thats about as long i been listening to them. i just don't see too many other dj's that are doing anything better to make that judgement. they will never be in the category of how oakie turned out. atleast i hope not.
also, i would go as far as saying digweed hates americans. maybe he preferrs playing other places. people tried to say sasha hated playing in america too, but he lives in new york. |

Sasha live in NY only because the guys he produces with live there....
I don't want SnD to be remembered in that category Oakenfold is in either, but they really are on their way... |

oakenfold category??? lol you're being ridiculously overcritical here and as much as you try denying that you're just another one of those nostalgic jaded ravers, that's exactly what you sound like. oakey, sasha and diggers all started out about the same time and just look at where they're all at today. there's an ocean of difference between them. just because you don't like the sound s&d have developed recently doesn't mean they're anything close to oakenfold's situation. s&d might not be at the peak of their careers today, but they're still pushing the envelope as far as finding, creating and blending new sounds. if you're expecting them to reinvent the wheel every year with the same degree of inspiration they had at the height of their careers, you're being unrealistic. |
