damn straight! you can't argue/debate with us if you don't have to back you up. calling people ignorant isn't a strong argument for your cause either.

Saying that Oakenfold isn't as good as he used to be has an explaination and who knows...maybe Tiesto is starting to experience the same thing. It's called DJ burnout. It's something that almost all DJs wiill go through that spin for a long period of time. I'm not saying that's what Tiesto is going through now but given the schedule he has to keep up with, it wouldn't be surprising. I'm sure that we will see PvD go through it as well in time to come. It's like with just about anything else you do day after day....after several years of doing it....you burn out on it. Sometimes all you need to do is take a break for a while and then you're good to go again....and sometimes not. It really has little to do with the lack of careing......you just plain and simple burn out.. On the other hand, you have those who get consumed by fame and they get a false sense of security and sometimes they do stop "trying". I'm not saying that is what Tiesto is doing now either but it does happen to some. I think in Tiesto's case, he more than likely just had an off night. We all have them. (yes...even PvD has them and I'm sure if you followed him to every single gig that he did, you would see that)

Ok so Oakenfolds aswell as tiesto and PVD.

Who the are you ? I bet you dont even have tabled your self, If so then i wanna rip a demo from you, see whos and in-consistant.

never said i hated them i just said they dont compare to skills of certain progressive or house djs out there...

and by the way ...who am i?? well im your dad bitch so STFU ...you dont want to be schooled ...and yes i have tables and im a dj ..and i would be gladdly to let you hear a demo of mine.. so better hold your mouth cuz you dont want to make this personal ..this is about djs not about u and me but if you do you can just PM me ill gladly school you in the art of mixing kid!

with progressive yes its easier to match beats cuz of the slower bpm and crisp snares and kicks ..but the thing is you have to drag each mix much longer then in trance.... for me trance is way easier to mix then progressive.... cuz you dont have to hold a beat as long as in progressive...try holding a mix for 3 min with out letting it get off track ..its much harder then mixing trance through 30 - 50 seconds ..much harder

I think ill resist the temptation of downloading a set from you then laughing in your cheesy spotty face, Enough said.

Try not to compare mixing skills from house DJs to Trance DJs. House tracks (Sanchez style) have like 5 min build ups, so the mixes can be obviously better, and to "boys" like you, The longer a DJ can mix, the better he is.

That is taking a seperate area of mixing, in this case beat matching, and saying that it is the hardest part of mixing! To some it may be, but I could happily hold beats together for as long as needed, you have to train your ear to pick up on slipping beats before it becomes too prominent sounding. What is hard is making a smooth sounding transfer in that 30 second window, yes crap DJ's will just cross over the lows and be done with it, but I strive for as smooth a mix as possible, and to do it with trance requires more skill than doing it with progressive tunes!

well Burns you brought it up ...for a demo...so offered ...mixing is mixing if its house ,trance,progressive,etc.... they might be different techiques but the rules consist in any genre that consists with trance...... didnt say longer a dj can mix the better he is ...obviously trance cant be mix that long thats obvious but there is much less error involved when it comes to trance.... with progressive there has to be longer mixing to make it sound good otherwise it sounds like so you have to adjust the pitch pretty much througout the mix to really get it clean ...... burn go back to playing video games your better at it!!!! kid lol

well your making a smooth transition through a 30 sec youll have to do the same for progressive just in a 3 min transition .... so i think there is much more room of error in 3min then 30 seconds.... ...you watch many progressive djs they will be so focused on the mix that you wont really seeing them jumping up and down in the booth...and i know many trance djs and if you watch many trance djs they wont play a mix as a prog dj does..well im not saying ever prog dj is good many suck as well but the good prog djs really focus on the transition they will have there ear cued up to the mix for minutes.... and yes trance would never be as smooth as progressive in the transitions but most trance djs lack in skills and if majority of you djs dont see that then i dunno what to say...... well for me trance is much easier to mix .....

i know for a fact what TranceClubber is talking about. Yes progressive music does take alot of skill and You keep using your pitch to beatmatch pefectly. But in trance i can beatmatch it real quick and then just mix it in and mix out in 30-50 secs which isnt hard @ all. I struggle more with progressive then i do with trance. But for me i dont like MIXING trance tracks as much as i do progressive. basically because of the long mixing u can do and how smooth it is. I mean All you djs talk about each other and stuff...why dont you try mixing progressive and trance and get your facts str8! I want to see a Trance Dj Mix a track as long and as good as sasha/digweed. like tranceclubber said its concentration! later

Judge Jules mixing was awesome, he was second that night only to Scot Project, so less of the pisstaking :D
