The people that normally go to Tabu suck. The sound system is most definitely going to get stuff added to it if Armin is playing. It is a pretty big venue, and this will be fun. For those of you that have never seen Armin at Ruby Skye in San Francisco, this is close as your going to get to do so.

Don't forget people... This is a Monday and not a regular thing Tabu does. The promoters are just using the venue, not the theme of the club.

I know the club and I know the promoters.. You are correct in the fact that they are just using the club, but I would prefer HOB or Firestone over Tabu anyways.. Tabu is rough around the edges but it will get nuts for Armin..

So... Ya.. If my fellow Miami TA's are making the pilgrimage for Armin then there is no way I will miss this show for $20... We will arrange a pre-game as it gets closer...

Tabu suxxx tho...

Tabu is the historic Beechem Theater, where Orlando's progressive scene took off in the early 90s. It was one of the first successful such nights in America, thanks to Kimball Collins, and keep in mind this is Orlando we're talking about - not NYC, L.A., or Miami. Both Gainesville (at Simons) and Orlando have a long history with this type of music so I really don't think the venue sucks.
Zewad
does anybody know if Simons exists anymore or even has any sort of electronica played there?

That is why I was referring to Ruby Skye in San Fran. OR even the Avalon in Hollywood. They are all old Theater venues that have the same feeling to them. I saw Armin @ Ruby Skye in July of last year, and the place was packed, and the night was insane!

Get the normal Saturday night of Tabu out of your heads, it will be nothing of the sort.
