The effects of thujone are cumulative. One night of drinking absinthe is not likely to prompt any visual effects. If you want the full effect you need to drink a glass or two a day for several days, once the level of thujone in your body reaches the appropriate levels then the effects become apparent whenever you add more thujone to your system (until you stop drinking it for a few days and you body processes it all). |

I never knew that, so you just have to pace a bottle over several days. |

Wednesday night is typically a night for a couple pints for me, but after that I came home and saw this thread again and poured a couple rye and cokes as well :P |

If I am having a drink....I have it because I like the taste of that type of alcohol.....its always good to find s mix that compliments the alcohol...its like finding the right spices to flavour a steak. I can't imagine anyone saying that they had the perfect mix of spices so you couldn't even taste the steak. |

I love strongbow.....prefer it to beer anytime. Ciders are perfect for the summer months while sitting on a patio |
