Let's all be honest here. Since Game 2 (with the exception of Game 4's third period), Boston has pretty much out hit, out skated and out worked Montreal.
Boston seriously got lucky on that blown offside call though. Price is starting to show his inexperience but the rest of the guys in front of him aren't ing helping either. They look timid and lack two big things; HEART and TOUGHNESS. But that's what you get when you build a team that's comprised mostly of Europeans. Koivu and Higgins played good last night though.
Where are the Kosyns? Sergei gets pushed off the buck and looks absolutely clueless out there. Josh Gorges needs to be BENCHED. Kovalev is doing his disappearing act yet again! A team like the Rangers or even Philly would ing destroy Montreal the way they're playing right now.
If they can somehow pull a win out of their ass tomorrow, things coudl change in a new series. But I started having a bad feeling in Game 2 when they started to sit back and protect small leads with no real demonstration of desire out there. |
