funny thing: i havent watched a single game this season, and i happened to catch 30 seconds of tonight's game, and those thirty seconds were right when kovalev scored and took it to overtime...

gotta love the Philly coach bitching about that SH goal being a high stick. It doesn't matter if Kovalev's stick came downwards, but the puck was tapped in if not BELOW the crossbar, then at least level and that is a goal! And that hit by Richards was clearly a trip. His ing stick was jammed into his skates and he stuck a knee out as Kovalev nearly deaked around him. That is a penalty.
Go look at all the non-Hab and Philly fans whining on the TSN comments. Such whiners! Philly got a few lucky goals in a game where Montreal did not play their best but still came back to win on a beautiful tying goal and a thrilling OT winner by Kostopolous. That guy works so damn hard I love it. Montreal also hit the post TWICE in the first period.
I don't want to start calling this year's Habs a team of destiny but some signs are there. A long way to go yet, but it's about time! |
