Late hit, bad penalty. Refs have been told to call the entire third periods like they do the first... presumably so games don't go into those long overtimes for starters.. and disrupt U.S. programming :rolleyes: :p

ing pathetic. Montreal is CLEARLY a better team than Philly but the finishing touches are just not there lately. Where is Kovalev? He is up to his disappearing act YET AGAIN! The Kosyns have been ing BRUTAL the last two games...Andre in particular tonight couldn't take a pass to save his life. Plekanec has been disappointing all playoffs. The D has been similarly DISGUSTING!! Markov...where are you man? Komisarek looks like a rookie out there. Gotta love Smolinski's giveaway for their second goal...nice pass butt !
Don't get me wrong...I love Steve Begin, but he simply took a retarded penalty tonight. He had ample time to stop and with the score 2-2 that late in the game, there was NO REASON to pummel him into the open bench door like that. It could easily have been overlooked when hockey was actually good, but that's just the way they call them these days.:( He's sure going to hear it from the Montreal media now I"m sure.
Halak was ok...first goal was weak...where was the D on the second goal??? Game winner by Briere was just luck...puck went his way and he put it in an empty net. I'm starting to really dislike that little though.
It's not over yet. This series could change in a heart beat if we can take it to them on Saturday and pull one out in Philly. But I'm just not sure if this team has it now.

the way the Penguins are playing right now...yeah they'd make quick work of the Habs if they kept their up. But if Philly advance, they'll stand little chance against Pittsburgh too.
I agree about too many Europeans. I know they're young but I really wish we had some guys like Kirk Muller, Vinnie Damphousse, Dejardins on defence...even a guy like Schneider or Chelios wouldn't hurt right now.
I say put Price back in net and see how it goes. There is nothign to lose right now and he could steal one to get the confidence back.

I disagree, we outplayed them for most of the past 3 games. We outshot them too. Biron is making the saves when he has to and our guys have no finish around the net.
put Price in on Saturday and give it everything. we have absolutely nothing to lost at this point.
