they played like europeans tonight...ugggggh
its still not over we havent lost 3 in a row all year...i think they will rout the flyers next game. If they lose though sfini je pense...belive people or you will get ass cancer. |

Fack, I started to watch the game in Period 3 and they scored 2 goals. Switched to the raptors for a minute and the Habs lost...I'm seeing a pattern...lol.
Habs got manhandled last night. Success in 3rd period was just because of a 5 min. penalty; so Habs can win when it's 5 on 4, but not when it's 5 on 5? That's pathetic. :rolleyes: |

Eh? They hit 3 posts in the first period and Price had a game. They weren't manhandled at all.
That said, Kovy needs to step the up and we need to start hitting the back of the net. Curious to see if Price or Halak start in game 4. |

they weren't manhandled but they weren't playing like themselves, the flyers are in their heads, and its showing.....they hit posts yes, but they had so many opp during the PP early on without even a shot on net
Price made some mistakes, but MTL needs to score early goals to alleviate pressure for the poor guy, 3rd game in a row where they got scored on at least 2 goals...need to score first |

Last night was frustrating at all hell. I used to enjoy Bob Cole's commentary but he said on three occasions during the first two periods that "Philly was dominating the play". Like..what the Bob? I swear he's going senile.
That was simply not the case...Montreal have been the more dangerous team offensively this series and are getting way more chances and outskating Philly. Biron has been solid but he better thank his ing POSTS because we hit TWO MORE last night goddammit! I think we've hit about 6 or 7 posts/crossbars this series...UNBELIEVABLE! And the missed chances and poor execution is killing me...Plekanec, A. Kostytsin and Koivu have all had breakaways in this series and couldn't score! UGH! Not that I'm faulting Koviu though...I was on him all year and he's showing to me now why he still deserves to be Captain of this team.
Price has been shakey all series but that first goal wasn't his fault. The D are skating back into him too much and are screening him. Hamrlik was in his line of sight on that first one, but the second and third goals were inexcusable. He's in his net too much and needs to come out more and challenge these Philly s on the angles.
I honestly think we will rebound tomorrow night but it's all going to depend on our goaltending and who scores the first goal. It's something we haven't done all series and it needs to change! NOW! |

let's go guys, come on, time to rally around them!
this next game is HUGE. Win, 2-2 and it's a brand new series. Lose, 3-1 and it may be over sooner than later.
As everyone has said, Price's performance has been subpar but I'm encouraged by the fact that we are outshooting them, outchancing them and dictating the play for the most part. Those posts we hit will eventually turn into goals, it's only good karma!! Biron has to crack eventually!
