i'd probably guess because Ricoh Coliseum is on city owned property (CNE) which means that they probably had to get a permit to hold the event there while renting out the venue at the same time. If the event goes beyond 3 AM then I believe it's deemed to be after-hours and would be under the same strict regulations (i.e Rave Act/protocol) that stopped raves from being held there in the past.
if you want to know more just google toronto rave act and you'll find lots of info..
I believe other concerts like the 50 Cent one that was held there in the past never went past 3 AM either.

honestly guys, off with the all ages crap. we were all in the same boat at some point and all wished we could see a major dj and brag about it to our friends. thankfully there was destiny and viva that held all ages trance parties when i wasn't able to go to the guv or the docks on a regular night.
best thing to do is to just ignore them and focus on your own enjoyment of the night. |

out of all those shows, I would only see 3 and 2/3 are over 60$.
Who the are most of those bands??
