macs = crash way more often than they claim

| ask yourself if firewire is someting essential to your needs and base your decision on that. I have both, and they both have pros and cons. If its just for everyday use, stick with pc and save the cash for hookers and blow. |

I don't even remember the last time my PC crashed.
I don't think crashes are much of an issue with either platform anymore, unless you have a habit of visiting dangerous sites or overloading your processor. |

| probably gonna grab an hp with 3gb ram and 250gb.... not sure if i want 15.4 inch screen or 14.1 tho |

+1 !!! make sure the laptop you get is XP compatible. Many that are coming out are not. |

i don't mind vista actually, although it ed my itunes beyond recognition! and now that i plug my hard drive into a xp computer the artist name does not come up on any track for some reason! any way to fix that? |

what is the purpose of the laptop? in my case, i use my desktop 95% of the time, and just use the laptop when i'm traveling, in school, or anything else on the go. in that case i'd prefer a smaller laptop. if this is going to be basically your primary pc, then i'd probably choose the bigger size. |
