I believe in real things, like myself, humans, animals, anything that is tangible, that you can touch feel look and see. I believe in Dinosaurs because we have fossils and skeletons.
I believe in Evolution because we have plenty of proof.
Where is your god now? |

You can't know there isn't a god, because to do so, you would have to be god (because you know everything in the universe). You don't know everything in the universe, so therefore, you don't know there isn't a god.

Please, cite some studies that prove sexuality to be genetic. My understanding is that the latest research shows that approximately 50% of homosexual men share a genetic mutation which is rarely found in heterosexual men and never found in women. The other 50% of homosexual men and 100% of homosexual women have no such genetic mutation. Now, I won't get into the whole theological discussion over whether or not a mutation can be considered to be part of god's plan (that debate is beyond any of us here); however, if only 50% of homosexual men have a genetic abnormality then one can only conclude that homosexuality is genetic in 50% of men... one can draw no conclusions regarding how sexual preference developes in the remaining 50% of homosexual men, heterosexual men, or women of any sexual orientation. |
I've read this before.. and I was once told being gay was nature/god's way [whichever you prefer] of evening out the population because obviously gay people can't have children without outside help. Kinda makes sense to me. |

sorry, but that's just retarded. we have innumerable other population-thinning methods, not the least being disease and war. |

Meh.. it goes along with the mutation business.. and I think it makes perfect sense. Keep an open mind :p Nature doesn't cause war |

you're an idiot. being 100% athiest is just as stupid as being 100% religious. agnostic ftw.
science has proved all re: whether there is a god or not. |

well, if i told you there were fairies on the darkside of the moon, is the onus on me to prove it, or you to disprove it? ;)
plus, atheism is much more than not believing in god; its a political position that calls into question the extremely privileged place that religion holds in the world. |

| Believing in any one thing so vehemently is retarded, imo. I mean, having ideals and beliefs is great...but it's ing stupid how some people put so much effort into it. It becomes contrived after a while, when people make it their business to be so attached to their beliefs...imo. |
