| God can't be proven or disproven so all we can really say is...We don't know...which is where faith comes in for all beliefs on god. Atheists have faith there is no god, while religious folks have faith there is a god. Both ideologies are faiths. |

Atheism has nothing to do with faith. It is an absence of it. we've had this discussion before ;)
atheism is not a mothering religion, no matter how trite and pedantic anyone tries to be. |

You can never know there is NOT a god, so therefore your belief that there is no god is a statement of faith...:) |

again, the onus is on the believer to prove the almighty's existence. Me not believing in god is not the same mental leap as believing in god. It just isn't.

Actually, both beliefs are leaps of faith, no matter how you put it. You can't prove there is no god, and a believer can't prove there is a god. So what's left? FAITH...I'm sorry if you can't accept this, I really am...:p |
