Have heard nothing but good things about this - think I might wind up going to see it Wednesday night with a friend of mine.
Really, really glad to see another superhero movie that apparently doesn't suck (I didn't see Spiderman 3 because 2 was so bad, and X-Men 3 was one of the largest comic atrocities I have ever witnessed).  |

People keep saying this is not bad, but from the previews I've seen it looks pretty terrible. Not sure who to trust on this one but after wasting 2 hours of my life watching Transformers I'm pretty much over shelling out $ for gimmicky special effects laden movies with little substance. |

Its way better than Spider man, Transformers and all that ! Captain Robert plays the role perfectly It was meant to be! Anyone have any idea how much the comic book series is worth? I have the collection hiyooooo |

Oh off Clovis.
As a huge comic book fan, I can confidently say this movie is nowhere near terrible. And it definitely doesn't overdo it with the CGI/effects, nor rely on gimmicks.

Everything about this movie was spot on. Only thing that hurts this movie a little is the plot. The movie, as a whole, wasn't put together well but all in all it was still a good movie. I am definitely anticipating the second one a lot. This movie was most likely a little teaser for some awesome action in the next one.
Saying this movie was "way better" then Spider Man is incorrect. I can't stand Spider Man, I never liked him as a super hero nor did I enjoy the movies much because of my biased oppinion towards him. But gimme a break. The first Spider man, especially, had a much better plot and the movie itself was put together. |

Seriously though, I'm as skeptical of big "blockbuster" movies as anyone - but I'd bet dollars to donuts this one is nothing like Transformers. |

I am neither a comic book fan nor a movie fan [let alone on opening weekend] and I can tell you I absolutely loved it. I almost always fall asleep during movies even if I do like it. This one kept me interested the entire time.
Rotten Tomatoes has a great ratio of reviews. Prob one of the highest ever on the site. If they have it on digital projection.. then see that one! Well worth the wait and crowd. Saw the last show at 10 last night and got home around 1am:eyes: |
