Is it just me, or does everyone on this board spell "" as "fook", even people from London.
"Fook" is a very northern word. Londoner's say "Fack Orf". |

Im in London and hate the fact that there arent any nice clubs in the area, they are all up north.
London gets very decent hard stuff, but no trance... :(
Oh, and about that map thingy, when's the next update?
I wanna be added (I'm about 10 blocks away from MOS) |

We actually do say "fook" up here, well most of us. We sometimes say it with a low toned U, and sometimes just O.
There are quite a few regional phrases to get used to up here. I'm sure there's a few in Boro I havn't heard of, and the mackems have variations (copies) of ours ;) For example, on their stadium they have "haway the lads". This is a blatant copy of a long established geordie phrase "howay the lads", which has been in the Newcastle ground's tunnel for years.
There's quite a few, like "gan canny like", which basically means "here, chill". Alternatively, "divvent yee worry" would suffice.
People say "lad" and "lass" a lot up here as well, even if the "lass" is some old wifey! |

"fooknel man, am proppa nakkad like!"
quotes Ste from that sunday after gatecrsher, which sam found amusing, hehe. |
