Think there are too many Northern related threads on these boards?
Fed up of hearing about far away (possibly foreign), rediculously northern people and places?
Tired of not being able to participate in conversations due to northern accents and confusing injokes?
If the above applies to you then just post here in the Northern free thread. Where the South gets its non accented say
:whip: :whip: :wtf: :gsmile: ;) :p
p.s. Kinuvan cannot be held responsible for anything in this post.
p.p.s. don't shoot me it's a joke.
p.p.p.s. no really, it's a joke.
p.p.p.p.s. keep that HAmster away from me!
p.p.p.p.p.s aaaaaaaRRRRGGGHhhhh aaARGHHHGGH uhhh uh.

| First question.. the DIFFERENCE between south and norht england.. other then the fact that ones up and ones down.. :eyespop: :nervous: |

I think you hit the nail on your head there Julie, one is up and the other is down, no doubt about it. Although I put this to you what if you were lying down with your head to the south, now imagine if that person looked down at their feet, surely then North would be down?
*ponders this deep philosophical question* |

K first i was looking AT the map.. if you know waht i mean..
SECOND... i'm still asking what is the difference |
|
|
| Kinuvan |
| If the map was flipped the other side up, then North would be down, and the map would still be accurate because the North sign would be pointing in the right direction! |

Okay the difference is...... well actually i dont know.
But using the sterotypes northerners are considered, hard, tough and working class. Whereas Southerners are considered, stylish, and rich, but in the real world this means all, although i think there is still a little bit of difference just hard to say wot |

anyone south of birmingham is a southerner :p
if u actually had decent clubs in the south then u mite get some attention :p:)
some fundamental differences between the north and the south...
- u can say hello to a complete stranger without getting a dodgy scowl in the north
- the word 'ayup' is universally understood in the north
- anyone over the age of 60 must wear a flatcap in the north
- northerners can play cricket
- accents are a lot more diverse in the north than they are in the south
- Its cheaper in the north
- 75% of southerners are wankers (not including anyone on here :)) where as the north just has a concentrated mass of wankers in manchester
- northern counties are allowed to have wars for years with no apparent reason
- the north has hills
- it rains more in the north
- if you live in the north, then paris is closer to london than you are
- if you are a northerner you will agree with this one... ITS COB NOT BAP!
hope this helps explain a few things julie ;) |
