review time:
got there at like 9:45 with no ticket to see a line of like 30 people without tickets i was like whoa thats nuts i get inside and it was only 30 at the door thats friggin sweet i though it was going to be like atleast 40
i get inside met up with a few ta's and was just haveing a good time during remys set. i agree with big mike and i even told him yo you have to come back and play by yourself talk to your manager!!! lol he just smiled and said he will try
armin came on and music wise he was better then i expected no up and down going no where set, it was really good he got me pumped now for mccarren and i was expecting a small set from him so i wassnt too upset when he stopped at like 3 i think
but like gmoney said made/pacha deff oversold it should have been a ticket only event and with that being said i know i would not have gotten in but i think thats the only way to do small partys with armin or any big big dj
the sound in there blew sooooo low and armins monitors were like the only sound comming to the crowd
as for the "fight" i dont wanna say whos right and who is wrong but i saw this kid gropping kelly and she was phycislly hitting him and shoving him tryin to get him off i tryed to pull him off and he still did not let her go so i had to do what i had to do shes my friend
sorry i ruined the night for a few min for everyone who was around
overall spending time with all the ta's and haveing a good time is what i enjoyed the most plus the music but everything else was blah
for 30 bucks i felt i got my money out of it and it was a good night out
i cant wait for mccarren now iam in full armin mode :eyespop: |

Was a total bummer losing my purse for a while tho. I stayed in the back with Uncle Ed while the staff looked for it. Didn't feel much like dancing or chilling when I thought I was going to have to cancel all my cards and get a new driver's license. I left as soon as they found it. |

it was my first time seein armin last night i cant believe how cool he was he was takin pictures with people sipping on champagne smiling the whole time. its also kind of crazy how many people from ta were there, the place seemed pretty small.
I wish it lasted longer and his track selection couldve been better but overall i had fun.
I have a question, was the douchebag that got knocked out the same douche that kept starting with everyone there, the pretty tall douche with yellow sunglasses? For about 15 minutes he totally ruined my night he came up to some dude and for absolutely no reason he started slapping him calling him a and pulling him out of the crowd saying "lets go outside" |

Pretty sure it was not the same guy. I was next to the guy who was knocked out, he seemed pretty out of it the whole time, and was a complete dick to anyone/everyone around him. |

that guy was a ing douche who was out of control and inappropriate. personally i saw red when i saw/heard what he did and was close to hitting him myself. he basically ruined the beginning of armin's set and we left that area immediately after...much better in the back. also, supposedly armin was the one to alert security so that's goood but so damn packed it took a while.
anyhow going to work now! |
