How do you know that the man he killed did not have a wife, children or friends? Perhaps his wife gave him that watch on their anniversary? Maybe he had it on as a reminder of his loved ones. Maybe it was just a piece of watch. Who the frig knows, and really, who cares? The point is:

Those situations are the ones that define us as people and determine our character. So to use that as a copout for doing unethical things says to me that the person doing it is not very honorable/has weak character. |

Look a THIS situation not one you read about or saw on TV. Look at it from HIS point of view. I do the same for the iraqis, to be honest if it was my country I might be an insurgent.
I'm not some war loving idiot. But to jump on someone for this is frankly shameful. And some of you might want to look at your own ethics, and consider how you developed your own rigid paradigms. |
