Seriously, I remember I gave the doctors a lot of trouble because I didn't really want all those needles in my mouth. And, I'm quite positive I did have these stitches in there because they bothered me so much in the following days :(

I was doing my routine on the vertical bars (gymnast crap), and I was talking (big no no). When I came flipping up and went to switch to go under the bar, I managed to slam my chin on the bar mid sentence and bit my tongue nearly right off.
Maybe my doctors were douche bags! I wasn't allowed to talk or eat anything other than liquid through a straw for almost 2 weeks. They straight up told my mom that they couldn't put stitches in my tongue.
