isn't there a video of Richie Hawtin spinning in NYC at a "secret" location some time last year or maybe a couple years ago? It looks like it's outdoors in some alley-way but the place is packed and the music was bumpin.

On May 17, minimoo unveiled the m and announced minitek - New York's Electronic Music + Innovation Festival!

Over three days from September 12-14, 2008 minitek will present an exciting lineup made up of international top headliners as well as long awaited US debuts of emerging artists. the lineup announced so far is:

But minitek isn't only about quality music; the festival will present new innovations in the areas of technology, environment and non-music art, and over three days you will have the opportunity to discover new concepts, experience pioneering projects and try out ingenious products that will shape the future.

oh jesus brooklyn is soo far!


^^a BUNCH of toronto kids are coming down for this :) yeye! ;) I love the venues in brooklyn, but for travel time, I am secretly hoping they dont do it there. I would hate to leave a party and explain to my guests "well its about an hour ride home, You ready for this??" lol

On the other hand, I cant really imagine where they would have an outdoor festival on the island.....we shall see :) the curiosity is getting to me, too!

Brooklyn is far for you because you live uptown, don't you? lol

There's no place in Manhattan that would accommodate something of this magnitude.
