He just wanted to tell us that he was bored to see the same dj's on the flyers everywhere.
Why does it matter here ? It has nothing to do with this thread.
I also think this new concept will bring 2008 music and not only retro stuffs.

Why not a line up with T4L, Fast Distance, Heatbeat, Daniel Kandi... And mixed amazing trance uplift & progressive DJs...
Give chance to young DJs :) Anyway, I don't know any DJ on the line up even if they are always booked by the same organization, how old are they ? Have they got a radioshow ? Did they play @ Trance Energy ? :conf: |

Arpegia, mate, i love your works (we met up at TL this year, was the guy kinda wasted with the little girl, anneke :toothless ) you should try to book a lot of underrated belgian artists like you, i'm sure the party would be great ;) |

The prob in belgium is that the trance scene is DEAD and belgium isn't open anymore for this scene unfortunately. |

Euhm guys I really don't understand the problem here, why the hell should we book other djs? Never heard of the legendary club Extreme in Belgium? Institute for progressive trance with one of the most respected progressive djs in Belgium, Phi Phi.
When you organise an Extreme night its quitte logic that you book Extreme resident djs and not artists that have nothing to do with this legendary club.
Anyway, this is obviously the wrong place to announce a real Extreme party, djeezes :confused: |

Hi Quincy,i know very well Extreme and it was my second home in the 90's and i still have a lot of mix tapes from this club but most of the people here never heard from Extreme Club and don't know Phi-Phi.
Don't you think it's time to relaunch the current trance sound in belgium insteed of always retro music and also book newest trance talents.Most of the people who went to Extreme have in the 30's years hold now and don't go out anymore.People are looking for fresh and newest music.
Book dj's like "Daniel Kandi" and it's just an exemple (don't book Armin or tiesto cause you'll sell your home to pay them) and you'll get some people from this forum going to your parties ; ) i know that this has nothing to do with Extreme but if you like trance. you can maybe organize other party with another concept name. |

Why do you thing these partys will be retro??
I organise monday party's linked to Extreme since 2001 Never did I organise 1 retro night. So comparing this concept with a retro cherry moon is really ridicoulus.
We always programm upfront progressive music combined with a few older but UNKNOWN records that you can keep on playing in new sets without hearing any difference.
The first edition is almost sold out in presale and like i expected we sold a lot of tickets to former Extreme visitors that are still into monday clubbing, phi phi and progressive music ;-) |
