I'll drop ya off if you need help finding em Kotsy :p
and I wasnt a huge fan of Circa or the Ballroom but it was something new, something different and there were a few good times to be had in that place. Getting rid of the gay crowd may not hurt them money wise .. but reputation wise they're ed. Unhappy homos = dramaaaa |
meh. i thikn the mjority of people will be for it .. gay ppl should stay in gay clubs. lol. on the gay street and thats it.. i dont wanna see that when i go out.. |

FFS do you people REALLY think AD/D or Circa are changing the format of the room because the don't want gay people there? lol
Clubs don't change format when somethings going well and successful. If they're changing the format of the room, that means that there weren't enough people going for that room. I was there a few weeks ago for Tiga and the room was dead... empty rooms don't pay your rent, your staff or your other expenses.
The official pride after party is at Circa this year by the way.
 |

| Isn't it a bit hypocritical that Circa is hosting the "official" Pride Week closing party this year, while quietly shoving their loyal gay club-goers out the back door? |

Activate: don't presume that the simple fact of them doing it is proof that it's the right decision. The room is packed every time I go in there, but ADD probably presumes that by changing the format, they can gain more new guests then they lose. I just think it's a shame, and a ty way to operate an entertainment business. Judging from the comments of illiterate idiots on this forum who think "teh gayz should stay on teh gay street", is it really so surprising that gay club-goers would view this decision with skepticism? |

The gays don't drink as much as a commercial/hip crowd will. Bottom line isn't the sexuality of the patron, it's how much they spend at the bar.
CiRCA wants to make money, bottom line. |
