How long can you fly consecutively until you go crazy? (pg. 10)

Grrr.

As the other Aussies in this thread already said, you Europeans and Americans don't realise how easy you have it.

We're very isolated down here. I don't mind the long flights (I think I did 35 hours of flying once?), however if you want to go on a trip, it's a very major event. We can't just waltz into the next country and be back for dinner like the rest of you lucky buggers.

If we fly for 6 hours or less, we are pretty much limited Fiji, Samoa, Vanuatu or New Zealand, which is a complete waste of time anyway.

If you extend that to 8 hours we can reach Singapore or Bali.

lol

Australia is pretty much the best country on earth.

We have the lovely weather, little crime, more space than people from Britain, Europe, or even America can believe, a culture which accepts, nay, enourages binge drinking, awesome drinking water (Melbourne is recognised as one of the top 10 in the world), excellent quality roads, soft penalties for drug use, great party culture and nightlife, abundant work opportunities, cheapish inner city housing, manageable inflation, negligible government corruption, unique and enjoyable wildlife and fauna, little pollution, inner city parks, strong sporting, theatrical and comedy culture, and delicious food all round (our steak especially).

We're lacking when it comes to public transport, but that doesn't really bother me.

Haha, people are so hung up on all the "dangerous" creatures in Australia.

I met people overseas who were stopping over in Australia on their way to New Zealand but didn't want to stay here for fear of getting bitten by a snake, spider or shark. :haha:

Australia is a hole filled with lazy ****s, snobby chicks and no decent music.

But yeah, the foreigner's stereotypical views of australia can be quite hilarious at times.

Dude, that's just Adelaide, Canberra and Darwin.

Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane are all good.

No way, Melbourne and Sydney just think they're the .

They only have like decent events on 3 times a year, the rent and living expenses are huge and the people think quite highly of themselves.
