How long can you fly consecutively until you go crazy? (pg. 3)

check seat assignments online a few days prior to departure to see how full the flight is. upon check-in, ask the ticketing agent to move you to an empty row or to where there are a few seats between passengers. sometimes, they'll even block off seats so other passengers won't be accommodated next to you. being able to lie down during long flights is a god-send...

i was playing phoenix wright: ace attorney. that sorta worked too. whatever the OP does, get an aisle or exit row seat. exit row seats are a little narrower but you get more leg room. aisle seats for obvious reasons. exit row ftw on a 15 hour flight.

eat some shrooms as you are boarding. before you know it, you'll be escorted off the plane by security guards at your destination.

20+ hours? What are you soft? Those of us flying from Australia to Europe regularly do 25-30, even 30+ hours. You get used to it ;)

Get your doctor to write you a prescription for some Ambien. Technically it only works for 2-3 hours, so if you need to wake up and be alert, you can be.

I will be in for like 15 hours non stop flight before I reach pakistan in august.

bahahahahaha

Very true though. I've been alcohol'd on planes twice, and both times it was magnificent.

AMBIEN

flying east I almost always get sleeping tablet to help pas the flight. going west i rely on good book, good music and free beer. get an aisle seat so you can get up when you want, especially during meals.

aus to europe is only 30+ hours including time in transit in airports. longest flight legs are aboutr 14 hours.
longest door to door i've done would be sydney-singapore-london-dublin, got off the plane, straight to customer's office and billed them 10 hour day. better that than going straight to hotel room, sleeping all day and being up all night.

The777sss, reading what you wrote makes me not want to fly ever again. I've had similar experiences with fat people, loud people, being in a sea of babies when I hadn't gotten any sleep, and being in the middle of an elderly French-Jewish stretch routine (I don't know WHY they picked my aisle to congregate and stick their asses in my face).

This and beer should set me straight. I was considering getting a macbook before the flight too so that I could just work on projects on Logic Studio for 20 hours (which seems like 30 minutes when I'm working in Logic Studio).

LOL @ Ecstasy droppage.

I look forward to flying again, because I know anything routine, like 2-4 hours, will feel like nothing after that Malaysia debacle. ANd whoever says you can't rub one out without visual stimulation... you gotta get creative and let the imagination take over!

13hrs nonstop where i then got onto another plane for another 2hrs. it was just exhausting and the first flight was late at night so i slept for 90% of the time.
