I had a really fun night, it wasn't the BEST GK but it was still enjoyable. Great seeing the regular faces, its always a pleasure :D

I guess your version of horrible is my version of good.....Emery was great IMO, but I am a bit of a prog dog these days....i've gone soft in my old age, lol. He did play some trance towards the end though
.....he even played ernesto & bastian - dark side of the moon (non vocal mix).
But yeah, awesome godskitchen....so much fun, reaffirms why godskitchen is still a favourite of mine.

i love when ppl say it was shiiiiiit, i hated it, too proggy etc etc then they say the last set of the night was the best one
something tells me somebody got bad pills hehehe
the comment made earlier about the lack of flow in joc's set i agree with a lot... it's not very often that im at a big arena thinking wtf is this guy doing |

average godskitchen for me. the half an hour i heard of jon o'bir was solid. menno was good too but by the end it all sounded the same. sander was average. good towards the end of his set but yeah, lost me for the first hour. JOC was ok. good song here and there but no flow or energy for the last set.
no alcohol past 3am is a joke. by 5 everyone is sobering up and tired. hence the zero atmosphere during JOC.

Sure SvD had that weak 20-30 mins or so in the middle, but the rest of his set was more or less spot on I thought. If you don't expect that style from SvD you've really got your head up your arse, that set was SvD in a nutshell, and I loved it.

agree, though was slightly disappointed with JOC.
