lol I texted Nada and Jenn a lot of the tracklist!!! :p
The place was ram-packed. At about 2 am, I sat with a friend on some stairs right next to the stage and as you looked out at the whole coliseum, waves of people were dancing everywhere, on so many elevated levels, was a wicked sight!!! Vibe was amazing imo.
Met Tamar who's my new partner in crime, lol. |

I didn't go based on these two assumptions. Glad I was right. |

| Def a nice change of scenery, I was dancing up a storm and barely broke a sweak, nice change from the sweat pit known as guv... Tiesto delivered, the ISOS 7 theme is trancier, and he brought it... Could've used a little more TIESTO tracks mixed in to get everyone going, he played some good at the start, then hammered it out for about 1.5yrs before dropping Sarah and Lethal...when Durands version of Lethal dropped, I got CHILLS!! The place went bezzerk!! All in all, a different way to experience Tiesto, the global brand, the floor was wickeed, plenty of room, still felt like a club.. the best feature of the floors were you could venture up into the stands, grab a seat, chillax, and then hit the floor hard again! The line up was way too ing slow... why can't they ever figure that out. the beer line up was ridiculous too, and it ing closed at 1am???? WTF??? TIESTO is the shiznit.. Yes, the all ages thing was brutal, 16yr olds throwing up from drinking too much before they got in there, and barely able to handle their drugs.. My only regret is I brought my girl who isn't much of a fan, and after 30 minutes was ready for home.. brutal.. never again.. |

ugh... been there too, way too many times!
It's an unfortunate double-standard. We're pwn3d. We have to suck it up at their events or chick flicks, and we're expected to take off early in misery when they don't feel it at ours. |

YEEEEAAAHH FAHAD!!! I ING LOVE YOU DUDE!!! :D It was awesome partying with you @ Tiesto & Lawler!!
Okay so the review for Tiesto:
I walked in with no line @ 12:30 (cuz Tiesto came on @ 12:02) and to my surprise was not as packed as i thought it would have been. The concession stands were serving food & booze and the line ups were ridiculous! WAAAAAAAAAAAAYY TOO MANY CHILDREN! Girls in the bathroom talking about how their pills were hitting them and things they were feeling. They were talking like it was their first time and they were really ed up and made me realize how bad kids are getting these days with all their drug use. My lowest point of the night was when i went up the the front of the floors against the fence to catch a good glimpse of the "God of Trance" and some 14 yr old boy starting feeling up my arm and had this look in his eye that he wanted to stick it in me... WTF?!?!? Duuuude, i'm WAY too old for you... i got really creeped out and realized there is not enough $ in the world to pay me to EVER go to an all-ages event again, especially when it's promoted by Z103.5!
Tiesto's set was okay... i've heard him play WAY better. Mostly new stuff... hardly any vocal tracks... lot's of hands-in-the-air trance. He started out soft and trancey, but ended his set really HARD!!! I ing loved it! :D
The sound was loud but just from the front; there were no speakers at the back so it was REALLY loud up at the front. Tons of room to dance on the floors. All in all, this was a concert, not a party.
Worst part of the night was when the sonofabitch ended EXACTLY @ 3am with "The End" displayed on the screen and he had already booked it off the stage. money hungry dj... ! (then he shows up at Lawler's sunrise party... WTF!!!)
Best part of the night was when Fahad started jumping up and down fist pumping the air and screaming "LETHAL INDUSTRY! INDUSTRY! INDUSTRY!!" lol
Tiesto = 6/10
Then off to Skybar for Lawler... |
