to the question: yes, i have no patience on the road whastsever, especially with incompetent idiots driving slow, on the left, ontarians, changing lanes for no reasons, hitting the brakes for no reasons (95% females)... and the worst cutting me off very closely on the highway.... you don't want to be sitting next to me when that happens. I loose it.
other annoyances, idiots with their prius, echo, corolla and other pos small cars driving on the left at 100 to save fuel, off and ride the bus.
agressive driving is the only way to drive, you stay alert and more aware of people around you or whatever idiocies they pull off.
I have a friend who drives defensivly and when I sit next to him, i freak out at how dangerous he is.
150000km in 4 years an no accidents on the highway. |

| How can you not have road rage when 90% of the people on the road are a bunch of morons? |

we're saying the same thing :p
in Montreal there's many places with highways elevating, so imagine the prick that wants to save on gas, he doesn't want to push his 1L engine to save 20cents of gas :p |

I did just fine going 120-130 when I was still driving the Corolla. Having a car is not an excuse to drive slow (unless it's a Volkswagen, in which case you should just stay off all major highways... and rural highways... and roads in general).
Maybe it's hard to accelerate if you drive a piece of crap, but you're not supposed to wait until you're in the passing lane to get up to speed; you get up to speed and then merge with the passing traffic. |

to be fair, you cant say that about the current gen MKV or the last generation MKVs. Maybe not even the MKIIVs (but i couldnt say for sure)
Really it was the old diesel VWs in the 80s and mid 90s that were flat our brutal for the power!
I recall back in grade 9 in my buddy's dad's old 88 diesel jetta... it could barely get up the hill on hwy26 going south into barrie with his foot floored to the ground! lol (it was an auto) |

Actually, drivers who routinely hit the brakes for any reason other than a traffic signal or a traffic obstruction should have their licenses ripped up and be sent back to driving school. Doesn't even matter what lane they're in or what's behind them - you don't hit the brakes because you're confused or lost or annoyed. You just don't. |

yes..not always proud that i get so angry but i drive about a 100 km's a day and touch on at least three major highways...so i see a lot of ..........
i mostly can't take people who drive around like they're on a sunday drive....
btw, i do weave in and out of traffic too...but i mostly do it cuz it keeps me sane in traffic jams..and to be honest..in some cases you do make some time up...i tend to find that each lane has an ebb and flow..anyways, i know it's not my best habit...i blame it on the turkish blood too..:) |
