So this is something I've wanted to do for a while now, but just tonight actually sat down and did.
Basically Jay and Adam (elfreak and nefardec respectively) both kind of inspired this idea in me over the past year. I forget which thread it was in, but it had to do with tracklistings - and Jay mentioned how he really wanted to put a set up with no tracklist and see how people react to a set without a tracklist.
For Adam's part, I drank some wine, which was shortly replaced with vodka and herb :p
Seriously though, the notion of his "bottle of wine" sets, and the flow they've had really made me want to do something similar - this is my effort, but I also thought it might be cool for some of the other DJ's on TA from all different genres did the same, and so I guess I'm just going to throw this thread up as a more general, and not just RJT related thread, to see if others care to do the same.
Also, I don't mind if any of you ID tracks - but I'm not going to post a tracklist, so it's up to you guys to figure it out.
For the first effort I've got 16 total tunes in 01:13:00 - happy spotting!
:)

And just for a bit more info - this is the set I played tonight on the Bedroom Sessions. It was one shot through, has no editing, and has probably about 50% tunes that have been staples for me lately, and 50% stuff I had maybe even just heard for the first time tonight.
I.e. " it, we'll do it live!" :thepirate |

| yeah I was thinking about this for my new mix, maybe the next one. Maybe type it out in black font so you have the choice. Either way, I'm in for sure, hoping for at least a few IDs |

ego boosting obviously! to see how many people would download a set based on who played it rather than what tracks are in it.

People will know the tracklists eventually, but the point to doing it is so that at least the initial listeners won't have the burden of having seeing the setlist first. The only preconceived notion here is going to be based on the DJ.
That, and I think it could be surprising. |
