| Stargate wasn't that good. I liked the movie, but the series was almost the same as Quantum Leap or Sliders, really, just with a slightly different theme. |

after bashing BSG yesterday, i had the misfortune to catch 5 minutes of atlantis, and despite my disappointment with battlestar its still a billion times better than anything stargate has offered.

Some episodes were alright. I got a mega deal off ebay for seasons 1-8 for $65 (lol) and watched them all.... But I never bothered to get season 9. Just not good enough to warrant it. |

To be honest, I had literally run out of things to watch. I don't do TV at all, so $65 for some sci-fi seemed like a good plan.
