It's not necessarily having a thread closed, but I've had posts deleted by Del when I called him out on breaking his own site rules and allowing global sticky threads for events in every forum (including the COR) because somebody gave him cash, whereas if I were to post a local event in the COR then it would've been deleted.
The discussion between he and I was then taken to PM, but my post and public discussion of the matter was deleted nonetheless.
Posts were also deleted when I voiced my dislike for an artist and promoter in regards to an event (that I made perfectly clear I would be attending and supporting) because TA was sponsoring that event. |

coup is MIA ever since fray banned him from irc for irritating him too much... Neo is just busy with the french cars, mid-life crisis project I think :) |

Lol i feel like im being paid by Del for this or something today and i assure im not and have not had a huge amount of dealings with him to be honest but on this point, it's his ing website! surely he can do what he wants with it. It doesn't matter whether I as a mod or everyone else as a member disagrees with it because he can do what he wants at the end of the day. Whether that's to the benefit or the detriment to the site i guess is up for potential discussion but it's an ultimately rather pointless discussion if Del doesn't agree. |

I'm not debating what was said and who was right, and I'm fully aware that this forum is a dictatorship and that Del is the almighty overlord. Del and I discussed both issues, we voiced our own opinions to each other, etc. I'm not here to debate that.
I was merely pointing out that, despite you having never seen it happen, Del does delete posts and/or threads that question the moderation and/or his decisions. |
