sounds like a really bad bollywood picture to be honest

She's also his son (Damian)'s mother.

edit: Yeah I guess it says that in the Wiki. :p

Over-rated beyond comprehension. Leave it to the general public to gawk at such over-hyped propaganda.

Christian Bale - 6/10 - His voice was unbearable and he just doesn't carry the dark brooding role like he should

Heath Ledger - 9/10 - Not enough dialogue but the limited amount that was there had significant irony surrounding Heath' death.

Aaron Eckhart - 7/10 - His role as Harvey Dent was believable - Two-face was a write off.

Morgan Freeman - NA/10 - Morgan was morgan, nothing has ever really changed with his performances over the years - no applicable rating

Gary Oldman - 7.5/10 - Mediocre at best - nothing that will ever stay fresh in my mind

Conclusion: 8/10 - If it wasn't for Heath' performance and Nolan's writing/directing I truly think this film would have failed miserably - I'm still laughing at Batman Begins - everyone was in awe thinking it was some kind of masterpiece when really they were just starstruck because it was a refreshing new look from Schumacher' debauchery... but then again, I'm just a critic.

Bale's performance as Batman leaves a lot to be desired.
Bale as Bruce Wayne is more fun to watch.

Heath Ledger - 9/10 - Not enough dialogue but the limited amount that was there had significant irony surrounding Heath' death.

Sometimes, less is more.

Why so seeeeerious?????

lol

Just saw this last night... the bf was way more into it than I was. Best part for me was Heath Ledger in the Joker's role... WOW
It takes the combination of a brilliant actor and brilliant screenplay to make the audience side with (or sympathize with) the villian... I definitely smell an Oscar there

My favourite part of the movie:
When the two boat-loads of people are in the middle of deciding whether or not to pull their respective detonators- the big black dude (I think from The Green Mile too?) takes it from the cop stating that he is going to do "what should have been done 10 minutes ago" ..... and then throws it out of the window. I actually gasped. I have no idea why that scene affected me so much.

As a NON avid fan of action flicks... this puppy was alright :)

Nope, his name is Tommy 'Tiny' Lister. He's been in a bunch of movies, but all of the more well known movies he plays smaller rolls.

Also, you may want to put a spoiler warning on that!

Catwoman Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie, who gave birth to twins with partner Brad Pitt earlier this month, is reportedly being lined up to star as Catwoman in a new movie.

(BANG) -

Angelina Jolie is reportedly being lined up to star as Catwoman in a new movie.

The 33-year-old actress - who gave birth to twins, the fifth and sixth children she raises with partner Brad Pitt, earlier this month - is said to be in final negotiations with studio bosses to play the feline villain who first appeared in the Batman comics.

Angelina has already been approved for the role by Julie Newmar, who played Catwoman in the 'Batman' TV series from 1966 to 1968.

Julie, now 74, said: "Angelina would own the part. My industry friends tell me she has already made enquiries about the role. I can understand how it would pique her interest. Catwoman is Batman's one true love.

"She is tremendously popular with women because she's both a heroine and a villainess."

Since the TV series, other actresses to take on the role of Catwoman include Michelle Pfeiffer in 1992 movie 'Batman Returns', while Halle Berry's portrayal of the villain in 2004 film 'Catwoman' was panned by critics worldwide.

Angelina was recently tipped to be starring in 'The Thomas Crown Affair 2' alongside Pierce Brosnan, but has been ordered by bosses to put on 28lbs for the role.
