must have been born retared...mind you, I'm typing, reading, jerking off and watching and listening all at the same time, so it's kind of hard to comprehend everything a once. |

This film was goddamned incredible - Just as Dennis said, it wasn't a matter of the film living up to the hype.. It was the other way around.
The parts were incredibly well cast and with the unfortunate passing of Heath Ledger I'm a little concerned that Aaron Eckhart's performance will go unnoticed.
I honestly don't know how they could top this. At all. |

The director even went out of his way to w/ your mind ... for example, when you know something is gonna happen ... it doesn't. 100% unpredictable plot!
|
I wouldn't say the movie was completely unpredictable, if you know some of the basic parts it was pretty simple. Otherwise a definate 9/10 from me. |

The movie is entertaining but hardly the best action movie ever (even in IMAX)
8/10 from me. |
Agreed. Like I said in the c0re they tried to do too much in the movie. For a movie whose whole advertising campaign was based around the Joker, you'd think they would flesh out that character more. Instead they tried to force in Two-Face into the last 30 minutes of the movie while completely forgetting about the Joker. The movie wasn't dark enough either; it just didn't match the implied twisted character of the Joker.
Some of the more memorable scenes imo were:
-Batman in Hong Kong (as random as that was, it was still cool)
-Any scene with the Joker

Saw it this morning at 830...Only IMAX show available all weekend (my fault for not getting my tickets sooner).
Wow. What an incredible action movie. I have always loved Batman movies, but when the new "darker" Batman movies began, I was hooked all over again. Dark Knight moved along at quick speeds, except for the end which dragged a little too much in my opinion. However, when it all finished, it left me wanting more. I hope this series does not quit anytime soon. Christian Bale is by far the best Batman to date. He pulls off both the "rich civilian" & "superhero" so well.
Now Heath.
Incredible. Lived up to the hype. Ledger took this role of Joker and owned it. He became Batman's worst enemy. Everytime he came into a scene I felt the sadistic, evil persona Heath was playing. As mentioned, the lip smacking noise, the eyes, that scene where he just keeps walking with the machine gun...the nurse.... simply perfect.
Heath has taken Nicholson's "Go with A Smile" Joker and re-created it as something even more memorable, that hopefully anyone who watches the movie will never forget. |

The only thing wrong with Bale's Batman was that overly husky voice...
Found it a little irritating...
Other than that he did a great job with the character... |
