You might as well date them? unless friends with benefits is your thing..
lücid
i think it's totally dependent on the situation and how both parties feel about it... but i'd choose sex with a friend over a random one-night stand.

I concur. I would never have sex with someone whose friendship I value. If I were to do it, it would mean that person doesn't mean very much to me.

No it's not, and I agree. I'm talking about casual sex/one night stands though.

If it's a one time thing than so be it, who cares? I don't think you can say one is more important than the other. If you both want a nice bang session than why say no to urges? If it turns out that it's a reoccurring thing..then yeah.. it might be a frienifits situation.

yes. and i have. on accident. and no i wouldn't recommend it if you value the friendship. not that it ruined mine, but we didn't speak for almost 4 months after it happened. then one day he just called me again and was like, "what's up" and i was like "nothin".

we never brought it up again and we're best friends to this day. it happened like 7 or 8 years ago. i've known him since i was 9.

it's all alcohol's fault.

Because it changes the relationship. From my perspective...one night stands/casual sex aren't my thing...the only way I'd engage in that kind of sex is if I don't care about the person. And I personally would rather have a good friend than a good lay.

it doesn't always change the relationship. it didn't for me. i mean, right after it happened it did, but we got over it. we weren't going to let something like that come in the way of a 15+ year friendship.
