Already have, and would do it again.
It all depends on the kind of relationship you have. In my case there really wasn't anything to risk because we both knew that it wouldn't change anything at all.
I don't really try to define all my relationships strictly according to archetypes and attach rules to them - can do this with girlfriends, do that with friends, etc. All my girlfriends have been friends of a sort. I'd bang my guy friends if they were hot chicks. |

I would say the worst thing is when the sex is just bad....how can you stay friends with someone when you know they suck in bed. |

It really depends on the nature of the friendship you have with the person in question. If it's a long-term, close knitted relationship you have with them, I wouldn't want to do anything to jeopardise what you've both built and maintained over the years. It would definetly change the status quo within the relationship more often than not.
It's also about the nature of the sexual relationship, if it went that far. It was a one-nighter, then you can pass it off as a mistake and move on, but the more often sex happens, whether you've established ground rules or not, one person is always going to feel more emotionally attached than the other and will want more, and that's where the friendship breaks down.
I wouldn't personally do it at all :) |
