That is awesome - other than like two friends from back home, you're the first person I've ever known who even knew what that song was!
I've been dying to use it in a demo for about 8 years now - so glad I was finally able to make it happen. |

I'm also suprised at the lack of attention that song got. Considering the band whom produced it. Easily my favourite from them. |

Agreed completely. It's also one of those tunes I instantly associate with Summer and being outside. |

i just finished listening, and i must say there are a few of these that i have been playing a bit. (tracklist?:p). While this is not the stuff i would probably record, it is really great background music (esp after a full night of radiohead). I don't need to comment on the mixing anymore...it is well done.

For sure. Btw, I really enjoyed the rest of this mix from you as well. It definately seems to be a step away from your usual sound. It does show you're very flexible behind the decks.
You impress me more and more each time you release these, Rob.
Keep up the good work. I'd really enjoy hearing you in a club environment. Hopefully when/if I make a trip down to Chicago, that would be a possibility. :) |
