yea the very first time i ever went to a greek restaurant was when i was in tarpon springs with my dad and his wife and her family. they live there. i was like 19 or so at the time and i didn't really give it a chance. i dunno what i was thinking ordering a chicken ceaser salad lol they had ordered that fried cheese appetizer and i wasn't crazy about it so i played it safe and got the salad.

i'm friends with a couple and the guy is from greece. she isn't greek but they've been together for like 5 years so she has totally mastered all the greek cooking from his mom and family and she always makes good when i go there to hang out.

LOL... sorry man I can't handle that smelly fishy taste of cavier, or the consistency. I like the tiny eggs on sushi but that's different. I love pelmeni and some of the salads, soups, etc...

My girl is Russian from Uzbekistan, and I actually think the Uzbek food is 1000 times better. She makes more of that than Russain dishes. Authentic Uzbek food is the best tasting I've ever had. I wish it was more accessable :(

it is very yummy, but i think i still prefer the simplicity of italian cooking..

Anyone who's ever had an original Philly Cheesesteak sandwich will tell you it tastes better than it looks.
