lol how far back do we have to go? The area that's now Uzbekistan was part of the Persian empire. Now I'm wondering if we should call it a Hittite or Sumarian dish :toocool: Either way, that was being made in Uzbekistan before mother Russia jacked the recipe |

I might have to agree with you Nachos. Spanish food is ing awesome, probably my favourite of all. Maybe Turkish though (but that's quite similar to Greek anyway).

Well I am not trying to go too far back, but Persians are all over that area in general. So to say it is an "Uzbek" dish is quite inaccurate as it is really a Persian dish that Uzbeks along with a host of others make. |
