Frustrating Games / Gaming Moments

Angry video game nerd Youtube posts aside, what are some of your most frustrating games or gaming moments?

Lost Planet (X-Box 360)- Just finished this game. My god, I wanted to commit suicide in real life about ten times while playing through this. I found this game to be ridiculously hard, but mainly because of problems with the control scheme. (You may have been able to change it, but I'm one of those people that plays on default control schemes no matter what.)

Whose idea was it to make the button to get INTO a vehicle the SAME button to remove a weapon from said vehicle? Or who made that same button the one which both ejects you from the vehicle as well as picks up weapons?

Also, with Wayne's life in danger all the time, you'd think he'd learn how to move his ass and run a little bit faster than going uphill in molasses.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time [The Water Temple] (N64) - Raise the water, lower the water, raise the water, lower the water....ugh, dammit! Not "hard" so much as tedious.

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem [Oops, didn't save] (Gamecube) - This one isn't the game's fault, but I started playing through this one again and forgot that it didn't autosave. So, I lost like 2 hours worth of playing.

Call of Duty, CoD:UO, CoD2 and CoD4, all passed on Veteran difficulty.
Anyone who has done that will know exactly what I mean.

CoD2 the beach landing level with the trenches, and the Ferris wheel in CoD4 :whip:

the ferris wheel is hell & a half.

I know there are a million things. I just can't remember anything specific.

The only thing that springs to mind is PaRappa the Rappa. I don't know what level, but I remember I got so mad at it that I kicked my N64, which had Goldeneye in it. The cartridge popped out of the system... yet the chipset stayed inside. Though, after that, I went to my local mom and pop game store and he had a used copy. That copy had all the bonus features and levels already, so it made multiplayer a lot more fun.

I have a lot more moments like that actually. I punched a wall once 'cause I died in FFVI without saving for hours. I wound up hitting a stud in the wall and came pretty damn close to breaking my hand. It was swollen for a weak.

Tomb Raider for PS1. Jumping on those damn platforms really high up. I would spend 20 minutes transversing a level only to miss a single jump about a mile up...then *splat*.

Still one of my favorite games though ;)

all the early arcade platformers were ing brutal.

CoD4 People who have martyrdom that you didn't kill then you try to run past them and see the little grenade thinge just a second to late.

Or people who just wing grenades all over the place and catch you out.

Worst ever though has to be getting killed respawing just as a airstrike comes down on your head. :(
