No that was just a LatinLover post. As terrifying as it sounds he really is as dense as he appears when he posts.

I don't understand why christians in the Us talk about wanting to ban abortion.

I personally don't think abortion is a good thing, it can have severe consequences but in the western world we are not religious zealots or are we?
The choice should be there, and if people aren't happy well why don't they move to Alaska that's gonna separate from the union if the AIP continues like that ...

I mean wtf is this double standard b*llsh*t?
:wtf:

Even the stupidest folk are sometimes blessed with a few random moments of brilliance :D

And yes i do find it funny that people can be against abortion, on the grounds that every life is sacred, and for the death penalty. Those two don't really go together. But to not pick on one group alone, the other doesn't go that well together either.

Now i am somewhat against the death penalty, but not because i think that the person who has done a crime deserving of a death penalty doesn't deserve to get killed, but because i think that death is to small of a penalty for a crime of that calibre.

What I find amusing that apparently you have to be for it or be labeled a 'religious nutjob' but the frothing libtards...

I'd rather support the birth of a child that hasn't had a chance to do wrong yet, than to oppose the death penalty of a criminal who has chosen to throw his life away. I respect a woman's right to choose, but I also believe people make decisions and live with the consequences of the decisions they make. The decision to have irresponsible sex came before the decision to have an abortion or not.

I'm on the record many times saying that I believe this issue is merely one of constant debate, but not likely to be a decision that is ever overturned in any court. It is something that makes sparks fly, but in the end I view it as a non-starter.

Exactly, people should be more responsible about their sex lives... if you can't have safe sex and live with the consequences, too ing bad, deal with it. Abortion, although it has it legitimacy depending on circumstances, is basically used as a scapegoat to act / live irresponsibly. That is the part I find kind of pathetic and disgusting, especially when it turns in to a BS second wave feminist argument about a "woman body." I didn't know a woman fingering her clit or shoving a vibrator up her vagina could knock her up. Since you touched on the death penalty, I support it in theory but it certainly does have it's problems in practice, which is why I'm on the fence on that one.
