Dude... you have no idea how odd it is to hear you bring that up. I've been listening to NE2: East Coast on average once a day for the last week, and all I can think during the first half hour or so is "Man alive - why the hell isn't anyone producing prog breaks like this anymore?!?!?"

Really made a lot of the percussion in new tracks sound very boring to me... :(

Prog breaks are definitely too few and far between. I'm not sure why people are so scared of it.

i've been on a breaks, downtempo, dubstep, and d&b kick these last few months just because it's so refreshing to hear something other than four to the floor.

I still love my oonts. But I agree, it's refreshing to hear some broken beats every now-and-then. :)

East Coast was excellent Rob...been churning it in my mp3 player all week... kinda makes me miss the prog breaks too.
