Yea, it's just advertising. It's clearly written that it's a pre-order too with the date of release next to it. |

Don't be retarded. The choice is obvious. |

| Yeah, if you have a PC that will run it well, hands down PC, like always. |

Didn't know this was coming out already. Told the gf to buy it for me for Christmas. I would definitely buy it on Tuesday, but this is my last semester before I graduate and I will most definitely put Fallout as a priority over school. If only they had Mentats irl... |

9.6 on IGN. 9 on gamespot (though 8.5 for PS3)

It's a shame, in light of these impressive design elements, that the PlayStation 3 version is shockingly inferior to the others from a technical perspective. Although the Xbox 360 and PC versions display the occasional visual oddity and bland texture, these nitpicks are easy to overlook. Sadly, the jagged edges, washed-out lighting, and slightly diminished draw distance of the PS3 release aren't so easy to dismiss. We also experienced a number of visual bugs on the PS3. Character faces disappeared several times, leaving only eyeballs and hair; limbs on robots went missing; some character models had an odd outline around them as if they were cel-shaded; and the day-to-night transition may cause odd streaks on the screen as you move the camera around. This version doesn't even offer trophies, whereas the Xbox 360 and PC versions offer Xbox Live/Windows Live achievements. |
sounds like a 360 version for anyone that had to choose which console. |

| IGN gave the PS3 version a 9.4, and they didn't complain nearly as much as Gamespot. A lot of those bugs can be fixed via patches, so I hope they get on that. And the absence of trophies is plain laziness on the developers part. We can't blame them for the visual bugs to be honest, that honor goes to Sony for creating a headache of a system architecture that game designers can't get their hands around half the time. If the PS3 was the lead platform for development, those bugs wouldn't happen, but software companies are more accustomed to the 360 and PC. |

| I haven't played any games newer than like 2006, and I recently built a new PC. 3.0 duocore, 4gb ram, nvidia 8800 GT, vista home premium. How do you guys think it would hold up for a game nowadays (since I've been out of the loop with games for a few years now). |

i bought my PC in february 2007 and it still runs everything on max, and your new beast is faster than mine. |
