Honestly, I still think it was the best pick he could have made. Sure Biden doesn't always agree with Obama, and he can be a bit uncouth, but healthy debate breeds good policy. It's about time ideology stops running rampant over American politics.

yeah, that is my problem with this election. I try to keep reminding myself that the VP doesn't really run the country, but I think this is the first election in a long time where the odds of the president not serving out his term are good on both sides of the ticket. McCain is old as and this country still has plenty of crazy racist biggots who may refuse to accept a president who isn't white.
It reminds me of the jokes that went around when George HW Bush was president. Like, if you are gonna kill the president for the sake of the country please make sure to get Quayle too. I sure as hell don't want Palin or Biden in charge of things
