| Damn, that totally disqualifies him from running against a woman who can see Russia from her house. |

| you've never made a mistake in front of a large crowd like that before Q5? He mis-spoke, big deal. He said three instead of four. Who cares? |

no, i see what youre saying. this was a minor one. i'm just making a neat little pile of his gaffes, but you're right this doesn't disqualify him for being the vice president.
Biden's got a lot of them though. actually the one i think disqualifies him is the one i started this thread with. not only does it scream complete ignorance of 6th grade level American history, his unabashed assuredness of what he was saying epitomized the utter gas-baggery of someone who has entrenched themselves halls of power for 36 years enjoying never being challenged on what spews forth from one's mouth during that time.
and this guy, by all acounts, will not just the VP but has been positioned to be Obama's de facto head of State.:wtf: it should bring a chill up one's spine this poster child for arrogant American blowhards will be sitting down with world leaders and representing the electorate.
...but he's on Obama's ticket so he'll still enjoy not being challenged on anything he says or being held accountable for the positions he's taken in the past. its all good Lebez, don't fret.
katie Couric on the other hand needs to be relegated back to the Today Show for not catching him on it IMO. |

it's his long history of crap like this and worse that just blows me away people like Lebezniatnikov and Capitalizt get outrageously wadded panties whenever someone simply points it out and would dare question Biden's preeminence over all things political and foriegn policy-ish.
to be honest half of why i post his gaffes is just to get a chuckle when they get offended. the other half would be to let people like you, who probably don't pay that much attention to American politics between elections, get a feel on what a huge self-important, 36 year entrenched soldier of the Democrat party gas bag this guy is and why in the world anyone thinks he would be a fit Head of State. |

sure he has blow hard tendencies, but so did Richard Nixon AND Gerald Ford and they had a lot of support. It seems to me you just don't like his style. I think he was a safe pick, but I'd rather have him be Vice President than Palin. He will actually have someting to contribute.
And who says I don't pay attention between elections? I post on this board every once in awhile and have done so for many years now. |

Interesting.
You've lost all three debates and have nothing left but this desperation. |

won't argue with you about Nixon but Ford??? i never understood Ford to be boastfull or arrogant in any way. i got the impression he was rather humble.
as for Palin i would warn you right now, even though you're outside the American political scene looking in, you underestimate her at your own peril. i'm just saying

desperate? desperate implies i have control. i willingly admit i have no control over this election. in fact i'm self effacing enough to have doubted since the DNC McCain will pull this off.
and like the title of this thread implies, it's a work in progress. |

Haha, careful Q. If sixth grade history is a litmus test on the Vice Presidency, you might want to take a look at who you have in your corner.

Ok, now that's a new one. :wtf: indeed. |

So the first post in this thread was Sept. 23. Today is Oct. 17. There are two "gaffes" posted in this entire thread.
That's about one a month, not one a day. So the thread is already a collosal failure.
But thanks for reminding us that Joe Biden is human and misspeaks about once a month. I thought for a while he might be a lizard too.

is there something youre equivocating about Palin? example?

not new. was not the primary reason Biden was chosen to share the ticket was to make up what Obama lacked in foriegn policy experience? |
