hmmm... ok I see what you mean. But no, not for myself. I can take care of myself and still get sick. This year has been brutal for sickness and colds for me and I have partied less than previous years. Go figure. I have found one common denominator. The environment in which I live. |

I get sick at least once during spring/summer, and at least four times during the winter, most of them being respiratory infections.
The doc says I might need to take the good ol' tonsils out...

buddy sitting next to me in the office has swollen tonsils. he was crazy sick couple days ago, i better not catch anything.
rather than sick, do you guys get tired this time of year? i feel like im going into hibernation |

I know some people that go to the casino and wear diapers so they don't have to get up from the poker table. |

Yes, but stay away from Purel, and antibacterial soaps, unless you are dealing with the old, or working in a hospital. Kids should be exposed to as many germs as possible.

Here in LA we had a cloudy morning for a few hours two weeks ago and I thought it was depressing and sad that we should have to deal with less than ideal weather for such a long time at least 2 or 3 times a year. Winter in LA sucks. You know its bad when you go from 7 beach days a week to only 6.5.

actually though, I do miss the cold weather. Last year living in Tokyo was great with typhoons rolling through all the time and bringing cool damp weather with them. and then the one or two sunny days a week you do get seem like paradise in a totally different way.
I'm already checking out the mountain resorts here in Cali finding out when the snowboard season is going to start. I'm excited to go swim at the beach in shorts and then snowboard in the mountains 2.5 hours later! :D |

I got once a week, and I swear, what they say about this chemical in the brain that makes us happier - so true! I leave the salon nicely roasted AND in a better mood lol |
