what i meant by "answer to" is that i wouldn't expect a dj to change his style of music for anyone, peers or fans. that's the intellectual property that a dj brings to the table that no one can change. i guess there are sellouts out there *cough*tiesto*cough* :p but i don't think the producer in question has reached that critical mass with his creativity yet. everyone who says his tracks sound the same; maybe the bass line is similar but the content (ie. vocal/instrumental) and rhythm of the synthesizers are SO different! :conf:

which are the two groups or people that he has disrespected more then once by his comments that he later says were "jokes". Sorry, but coming out later and saying "Oh I was Joking" doesn't work....this just goes to show he needs to learn how to be a public figure...which he is...wether he likes it or not. I really hope he learns this because the man does have talent and I would hate to see him loose out because he didn't learn to keep his mouth shut. |

I agree that trashing someone is inappropriate...and the people that are name calling are just being immature.
Deadmau5 has disrespected DJs and fans (even if he says its a joke) so why should those same people respect him. |

i think deadmau5's greatest work to date was giving a bad interview and exposing everyone for the whiney, irrelevant, gullible, petty retards they are in one giant cluster . seriously, care more about something that has no impact on your lives or the people around you. 1000 years from now they arent going to be digging up fossils of out computers to figure out if deadmau5 was a dick or not, and if people thought he was a dick.
