lol never had a chance to speak with him, although i spoke to both his parents backstage at the guv. very nice people so i'm not really concerned about his values (although yeah, good parenting doesn't necessarily mean good values in kids, but i've found this to be rare in my experience).

I agree with you; however, in this case, he's gone on the record to say everything he said was a joke, so why would you try to structure an argument to find the "right" in what he said? Unless you don't believe anything he says anymore because you are jaded from previous posts, which was my earlier point. |

dude public office is totally different...politicians are meant to represent the voice of the people and are scrutinized WAY more than artists, who supposedly represent their own creativity and don't have to answer to anyone. |

Well...I can't say he is the greatest guy in the world or he is a complete ass.
I was just commenting on what AJ said in that he is a TOTA and we should show a little respect. Just cause he is a TOTA doesn't mean he has earned my respect or the respect of other TOTAs....hell there are many TOTAs who I would say haven't earned the respect of other TOTAs.

I've read the whole thread, it still doesn't change the fact that people are defending him based on their personal life rather than his role in the scene. I wouldn't doubt he meant this though because of his track record and the fact that he loves his attention. It's pretty hard to make gossip with everything that goes on in the EDM world but he seems to always make the front pages.
I have to agree with ChemEnhanced here, his professionalism doesn't help the situation. What does he expect people to think when he says stuff like this, that we know he's joking... everyone has to read TA? The guy's sets are composed of only his tracks, doesn't that sound like awfully good evidence to suggest what he said could have been true? I'm sorry but I can't respect this guy from a profesional stand point, it's not the way you do things. If the interviewer is annoying, too bad, put up with it... everyone else did. |
